Look at any recent craft beer industry publication and you’ll see that most agree on certain trends that will emerge in 2019 and no trend is more prevalent than the lager, deemed the comeback kid of 2018 and 2019.

Belching Beaver is no exception. The San Diego-based brewery is releasing its own lager on March 23, just in time for spring. Nothing pairs better with warm weather than a light and crisp lager, perfect for cookouts and lounging on the beach or poolside.

The limited-time release beer is called Buenos Tiempos, a Mexican-style lager that is not only refreshing but also something you can sip in style thanks to the sweet can art featuring a Día de los Muertos mariachi player. Pun intended with sweet because it’s a sugar skull, get it?

To celebrate all Belching Beaver locations will be throwing a fiesta with $5 Buenos Tiempos pints, $1 off cans, $6 Micheladas, $1.50 tacos and a mariachi band. Buenos Tiempos t-shirts, stickers and Mexican-style blankets will also be for sale.

If you missed the launch party don’t worry, Buenos Tiempos will be available through summer 2019 in all nine states the brewery distributes to and can be purchased at any Belching Beaver location.
